    Biography

    Greg J. Haro, M.D. is a General Surgery Resident in the UCSF Department of Surgery. During his research years, Dr. Haro was a Research Fellow in the UCSF Thoracic Oncology Laboratory under the tutelage of David M. Jablons, M.D. Dr. Haro obtained a Bachelor of Music from Rice University, his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, and his Advanced Training in Clinical Research from the UCSF Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics. His research focus is the incorporation of molecular prognostic classifiers into lung cancer staging as a way to improve prognostication of early-stage disease.

    Dr. Haro is Co-Director of the Enhanced Recovery After Surgery Program (ERAS) for Thoracic Surgery, and is an Investigator and Study Coordinator of the Minimally Invasive Thoracic Surgery Intercostal Nerve Block Trial.
